CAMPS

  • Hoopaholics is having a positions skill camp at Lakeside high school August 2nd through 6th 2010. This camp is designed to work with athletes who want to learn how to become better point guards and shooting guards and perfect their post play through physical drills on the court and through learning the mental side of the game as a point guard and shooting guard with classroom work. Players can decide which position they want to work on. Former Detriot Pistons head coach George Irvin and Hoopaholics director Michael Johnson will be running this camp. TRYOUTS

  • Hoopaholics east tryouts: Sunday, March 7th at Beaverlake middle school - 25025 SE 32nd Street, Issaquah, Washington 98029 and Saturday, March 13th at Skyline High School. Click here for more details.
  • Hoopaholics Spring/Summer team tryouts the weekends of March 6th and 7th and March 13th and 14th: At Lakeside high school - the main gym - 14050 1st Avenue Northeast Seattle, WA 98125 Off of I-5 head west and take first left on 1st Ave NE and park in the first parking lot on the campus. Go to Tryouts page to find specific times.

TOURNAMENTS

  • Hoopaholics is hosting the summer 3 on 3 event at Saint Alphonsus, August 7th and 8th. More details coming soon.

Hoopaholics is not just another basketball program, it is a way of life, a way of always improving oneself. Hoopaholics' approach is not only to enhance the quality of the athlete's game, but to develop the athlete's mind and decision making by helping athletes learn to focus on things they can control; such as attitude and effort.

On January 25th, 2008 Hoopaholics owner Michael Johnson became the first player to have his jersey retired at Ballard High School.
