Coach: Eric Taylor
Eric graduated from Ballard High School in 2009, where he spent all four years on the Varsity team. He played quality minutes as a freshman then started almost every game the next 3 seasons. His last two years at Ballard, Eric earned honorable mention All-KingCo his Junior season and 1st team All-KingCo Senior year. During that senior year, he captained the team to its first playoff appearance in almost a decade. After finishing at Ballard High School, he earned a scholarship to Saint Martin’s University, a Division II school in Olympia, Washington. While at Saint Martin’s, Eric graduated with a BS in Biology and was a four year letterman. Played point guard, shooting guard, and small forward while at SMU and came off the bench to finish 2nd on the team in points per game his senior year.
Eric is excited to join the Lil' Dribblers program and give back to the area where he grew up and grew to love the game himself.
Lil' Dribblers FAQ
Q: My player is brand new to basketball, would this program be a good fit?
Yes! This program is for brand new and newer players to the game of basketball. We understand they might be nervous to start with this experience. Our coach does an excellent job making them feel comfortable and enjoy this new game right away!
Q: How does the 'Skills Class' work?
Players will be working togther on skill-specific fundamentals with our coach. The very basics are taught in a fun, learning environment.
Q: How does the 'league' work?
Coach will be informally placing players on teams to get up and down the court. We have two full length courts so players will be out on the court! There is no score kept and players are split up generally by age and if necessary, by skill. Great way to get in game experience!
We hope to see your player out on the court!
