Hoopaholics is not just another basketball program, it is a way of life, a way of always improving oneself. Hoopaholics' approach is not only to enhance the quality of the athlete's game, but to develop the athlete's mind and decision making by helping athletes learn to focus on things they can control; such as attitude and effort.
At Hoopaholics our mission is to have each athlete:

- Accept full responsibility for actions by not blaming parents, teammates, coaches, or referees.

On January 25th, 2008 Hoopaholics owner Michael Johnson became the first player to have his jersey retired at Ballard High School.
